Full Description

A linear ditch is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the north of Brook House, Chideock. It runs N-S and parallel with the modern field pattern which may fossilise the medieval strip field pattern. The feature is therefore considered likely to be a field boundary of medieval or post medieval date. The site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). (1)
