Second World War military slit trenching is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken at Lower Hamworthy, Poole in 1942 (1). The features are not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project (2/3). The features were digitally mapped as part of the the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
