The possible site of a Second World War pillbox is visible as an extant structure on aerial photographs taken in 1948 on Wennet Hill (1). The feature has since been removed and no longer visible on the latest Google Earth imagery. The features were digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
