A building is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946 at Chickerell Hive Point, Fleet. It is considered likely to be military in origin and to date from the Second World War.

A building is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946 at Chickerell Hive Point, Fleet (1). Due to its close proximity to Chickerell Camp (MDO893) and to the naval decoy recorded at Chickerell Hive point (MDO29731) it is considered likely to be asociated with Second World War military activities. The feature is visible on the most up to date comprehensive imagery available to the project (2/3). The site was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
