A circular hollow is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of Westfield Farm, Weymouth taken in 1942 (1). It is considered likely to be the remains of a Second World War bomb crater. This feature was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). It is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project.
