A rectilinear structure is visible on aerial photographs of Wyke Regis taken in 1942 (1). It is considered possible this could be the remains of a military building associated with Second World War activity in this area. Alternatively it may have had an agricultural function. This feature was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). It is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project.
