Full Description
A group of trackways are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (1-4), running predomianatly east-west across the northern end of Highwood Heath. They are considered likely to be historic in date, although there is potential that some may have earlier, prehistoric origins. These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. They are not visible on the most recent aerial images available to the project, this area now being under modern conifer plantation.
