Full Description
A post medieval extractive pit is visible as an earthwork on lidar imagery of 2010 to the north east of Tincleton and to the west of Clyffe Copse. The pit is located on Portsdown Chalk Formation and measures 48 by 48 m. (1) This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
