Full Description

A linear bank is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of a field situated on the eastern slope of Dukes Hill, Morden (1). It appears to respect the modern field pattern and is considered likely to be the remains of an historic field boundary. This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. It has since been levelled and is visible as a faint cropmark on the most recent aerial imagery available to the project.
