Full Description
Hollows and associated upcast banks are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of Holton Heath (1). They are surrounding an anti aircraft tower (MDO27770) and are considered likely to be military features associated with Second World War activity in this area. These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. They are not evident on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project.
