Full Description

A group of drains or trackways, which may be post medieval or early modern in date, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of 1946 on King George's Field, Swanage. The trackways or drains are oriented north west-south east and south west-north east and are formed of linear ditches. They are visible over an area measuring approximately 375 m by 160 m. (1) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
