Full Description
A Second World War trackway is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of the 1940s and 1950s on Black Down, Studland. The trackway is formed of a narrow linear ditch, aligned north west-south east and measuring aproximately 145 m in length. (1-2) The trackway may be associated with an extensive area of weapons pits and two small buildings (see linked records).
