A Second World War bomb crater is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 to the south of West Orchard Farm, Church Knowle (1). The feature is still visible as faint cropmarks on modern Google Earth imagery. It was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck NMP.
