A possible Second World War bomb crater is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1944 to the south west of Kite Hill Plantation, Affpuddle. The crater is sub-circular and measures approximately 23 m in diameter. (1) This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
