‘Twenty-one Durotrigian coins found by Mr K. Bickmore in 1986 in the field immediately east of Maiden Castle were reported in these Proceedings (109 (1987), 124). In October 1988 Mr Bickmore returned to the same area with his metal-detector. He found another thirty staters (R. P. Mack, The Coinage of Ancient Britain, ibid., type 319). These, like the earlier finds, were declared Treasure Trove at a Coroner’s Inquest held on 13 December 1988.’
