Full Description
Possible modern military earthworks are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of 1945, on Tonerspuddle Heath, within the First and Second World War Tank Training Area of Bovington Camp. The earthworks comprise: an area of small sub-rectangular banks positioned on a east-west oriented line; and trackways visible as narrow, linear, banks, on the same alignment. The earthworks are visible over an area measuring approximately 250 m by 92 m. (1) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
