Full Description

Five medieval or post medieval field boundaries are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in two areas to the south of the centre of Bere Regis. The boundaries are formed of linear banks which are on the same alignment as the extant field system, which may suggest that they are later in date. The boundaries measure up to 120 m in length. (1) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
