Full Description
Three small structures or platforms are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946. One lies on top of the bowl barrow described in MDO8080. They are considered to be the sites of military firing points or targets associated with East Holme Range (MDO31782) (1). The features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project, they are no longer visible under scrub vegetation on recent Google Earth images.
