A small rectangular structure or platform is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946. It is possibly the site of a military firing point or target associated with East Holme Range (MDO31782). (1). The featur was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project, it is no longer visible under scrub vegetation on recent Google Earth images.
