Full Description
An extractive pit which may be medieval or post medieval in date is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs of 1978 to the north east of Owermoigne. The quarry is located on sand. It is sub-circular in shape and measures approximately 30 m in diameter. (1) This feature was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
