Full Description

A banked field boundary lies within Coombe Wood and is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (1). It is in close proximity to the prehistoric banked enclosure described in MDO7390 and may be of contemporary date. The site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
