Full Description
A dispersed series of mounds and hollows considered to be associated with post medieval extraction are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1945 and 1970 to the northeast of Belhuish Farm. The features have been plough-levelled and are not longer visible on the latest Google Earth imagery. They were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
