Full Description
Seven small round hollows are visible as fresh earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 to the west of Sleight Buildings (1). They are potentially the sites of Second World War bomb craters although they may alternatively be extractive pits. The site has since been plough-levelled and the features visible as cropmarks in 1982 (2). They were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
