Full Description
A post medieval drainage system or water meadow is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs at Ballast Knap, Owermoigne. The earthworks consist of: linear ditches oriented east-west, some with ditches leading off them to the north west and south west; and south west-north east oriented banks. The drains are visible over an area measuring approximately 400 m by 270 m. (1) This site was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
