An area of post medieval drains is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs to the south of Crossways. The drains are formed of south west-north east oriented ditches, measuring up to 48 m in length. The drains are visible over an area measuring approximately 285 m by 48 m. (1) This site was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
