Full Description
Fragmentary trackways of a possible post medieval date are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s on Galton Heath, Crossways. The features are visible as narrow linear banks and ditches, oriented north-south and north west-south east. They are visible over an area measuring approximately 400 m by 140 m. (1) This site was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
