Full Description
Two scarps, probably evidence of post medieval chalk extraction, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s at Brimstone Bottom, Owermoigne. The scarps measure between 31 m by 11 m and 45 m by 13 m. (1) These features were digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
