Full Description
Probable post medieval field boundaries or drains are visible as earthworks and soilmarks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the south west of Winfrith Newburgh. The features are formed of linear banks and ditches which appear to form divisions within the extant field system. The boundaries or drains are visible over an area measuring approximately 415 m by 410 m. (1-3) These features were digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
