Full Description

The approximate site of Lilliput House, shown on the 1st edn OS 1in: 1 mile map of c 1811 (1). It is said to have been extant in 1783 and was ruinous by 1825 (Chineland website: http//chineland.com/?page_id=43). Mackenzie's 1785 chart notes a conspicuous 'Summer house' in approximately this location (2).
