Full Description
The OS 1st (1892) (1) and 2nd edn 25in (1902) (2) maps show a series of elongated lakes along the stream descending Branksome Chine. These are not shown on later mapping (3), suggesting that the ornamental water element in Branksome Gardens had been substantially remodelled.
