‘Report of a cemetery at Little Pamphill … Residents of Little Pamphill have reported to the warden, David Smith, that some time before 1987 metal detectors found lead coffins north of the cottages at Little Pamphill. This part of the hill is flat but apart from the story there is no other evidence to confirm or deny it.’
