‘Displaced boundary stones at Eye Mead Ford … There are 2 large irregular lumps of heathstone thought to have once been boundary stones repositioned at the roadside near Eye Mead Ford. The warden David Smith says that they were moved at some time from the meadows beside the Stour and may once have marked the boundaries of areas of grazing rights there.’
