Full Description
No internal or associated features could be discerned. <1>
Appears as a light chalky patch in an arable field, suggesting that the mound of this barrow survived as a slight earthwork in 2009. <2>
Cropmark of a probable Bronze Age round barrow visible as a ring ditch at SY 8591 9986, south of East Down Plantation on aerial photographs taken in 2015 as part of the Historic England Reconnaissance Recording Programme. <3>
The barrow mound is visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM <5>.
