Full Description
Two undated parallel ditches (32003 and 32005) were discovered in Trench 32 during the evaluation of the proposed route of the Corfe Mullen to Salisbury Water Transfer Scheme in 2012. The ditches were about 0.3m wide and 0.1m deep and oriented roughly north-south. A single flint flake was recovered from one of these ditches. [1]

Two parallel ditches, 32003 (Fig. 50, Section 38) and 32005 (Fig. 50, Section 39) whose location did not correspond with any geophysical anomaly, ran along almost the whole length of the trench on an approximate north/south alignment. No artefactual material was recovered from the single fill 32002 of 32003 and a single worked flint flake recovered the single fill 32004 of 32005. Pit 32007, which contained single fill 32006 from which no artefactual material was recovered, cut fill 32004.
