Summary

Two small hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in the field to the south-east of Pitfold Farm, Burton Bradstock. They are considered likely to be post medieval extractive pits and were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP project. One is marked as 'Old Quarry' on the OD 1st edition map.

Two small hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in the field to the south-east of Pitfold Farm, Burton Bradstock. They are considered likely to be post medieval extractive pits and were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP project. (1). One is marked as 'Old Quarry' on the OD 1st edition map.
