Full Description
A linear scarp is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the east of River Cottage, Slape Manor (1). It runs for 160m across the natural contours in a roughly east-west direction and is considered to be a field boundary of medieval or post medieval date. It was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. The feature is no longer visible on recent Google Earth imagery.
