A linear hollow is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the east of Elcombe Farm (1-2). It runs from the modern lane, south-westward for 100m and was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. It is considered to be a trackway or field lynchet.
