A large area of post medieval quarrying is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery under trees within White Sheet Hill Plantation (1). The quarrying is probably associated with the lime kiln marked on the 1st edition OS map (MDO233). The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
