Full Description
A large area of disturbed ground is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the east of Purcombe Farm (1-2). It is considered to be the result of historic extraction although a natural origin for some of the features cannot be ruled out. The disturbance covers an area 135m by 120m across. It was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
