A probable post medieval extractive pit or pond is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the southwest of Lower Denhay Farm (1). The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. It has since been levelled and the feature is no longer visible on the latest Google Earth imagery.
