Summary

A dark circular cropmark visible on aerial photographs dated 2005, and more faintly on aerial photographs dated 2002. This feature is approximately 15 metres in diameter and is interpreted as a probable Bronze Age round barrow. The site of the probable round barrow was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cern and Piddle AIM Project.

Full Description

No mound or bank material could be discerned, and no associated features were noted. The dark circular cropmark of the ditch is roughly 2 metres wide with slightly irregular edges.

The site of the probable round barrow was digitally recorded during the Dorset Upper Cern and Piddle AIM Project. It is visible as a ring ditch 16m across on aerial photographs taken in 1995. <3>
