Summary

Bank and ditched linears are visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs to the south of Butt Lane. A very straight feature runs from the lane WNW for 320m and may be a trackway or field boundary. A second ditched feature lies to the north. They were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description

Bank and ditched linears are visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs to the south of Butt Lane (1-2). A very straight feature runs from the lane WNW for 320m and may be a trackway or field boundary. A second ditched feature lies to the north. The feature are considered to be post medieval field boundaries or trackways, they were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
