Summary

Perpendicular ditched field boundaries of probable post medieval date are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the south of Main Street, Cains Farm, Chideock. The features were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP, they have since been levelled and are no longer visible on the latest Google Earth images.

Perpendicular ditched field boundaries of probable post medieval date are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the south of Main Street, Cains Farm, Chideock (1). The features were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP, they have since been levelled and are no longer visible on the latest Google Earth images.
