Full Description
Historic linear cultivation marks to the north of Laverstock Farm are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in the 1940s. The cultivation marks are visible within four fields bordering a narrow stream valley and their broad linear form may indicate medieval ridge and furrow but a later date is possible. The cultivation marks are generally no longer visible on the latest Google Earth imagery (2). The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
