Summary

A banked field boundary is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the west of Stubb's Farm. It's curved morphology is suggestive of a medieval origin although a later date is possible. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

A banked field boundary is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the west of Stubb's Farm (1). It's curved morphology is suggestive of a medieval origin although a later date is possible. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. The feature is still visible as an extant earthworks on Google Earth imagery (2).
