Summary
A small extractive of post medieval date is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 on the north eastern side of Dodpen Hill, in the vicinity of the Tempus Forestry Commission Building. The feature is 12m across. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description
A small extractive of post medieval date is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 on the north eastern side of Dodpen Hill, in the vicinity of the Tempus Forestry Commission Building (1). The feature is 12m across. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. The site is now under modern plantation and is therefore no longer visible on more recent Google Earth imagery (2).
