A small extractive of probable post medieval date is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 within North Wootton Hill Plantation (1). The feature is 30m across and was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. The site is now under modern plantation and is therefore no longer visible on more recent Google Earth imagery (2).
