Summary

Fragments of two possible terraces are visible are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the south west of Dodpen Farm. They are possibly the remians of medieval strip lynchets although an natural origin is possible. The features were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Fragments of two possible terraces are visible are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the south west of Dodpen Farm (1). They are possibly the remiais of medieval strip lynchets although an natural origin is possible. The features were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. The features have since been levelled and are no longer visible on the most recent Google Earth imagery.
