Full Description
A large hollow is visible as earthwork on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the east of Spence Plantation (1-2). It is considered likely to be a post medieval extractive pit although a natural origin cannot be ruled out. The feature is 50m across and was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
