Full Description
Fragments of linear ditched features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947 to the north of Lower Sminhay (1). They are considered likely to be post medieval field boundaries or drainage ditches although an earlier medieval origin is possible. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. The features have been plough-levelled and are no longer visible on recent Google Earth imagery (2).
